Eilat Records 2.5 mm of Rain; Ramon Airport Records 0.6 mm

Eilat recorded 2.5 millimeters of rain from Saturday morning, October 10, as the first rain and thunder reached the city. Light rain also fell elsewhere in the southern Arava, while 0.6 millimeters were measured at Ramon Airport. Mostly light local rain was forecast for the southern Negev and Arava until evening, with no flooding expected at the time of the report. For Sunday afternoon into evening, stronger localized rain was possible, especially near the Dead Sea, with a risk of flash floods.
