Raz Hershko Advances to Third Round at World Judo Championships in Baku

Israeli judoka Raz Hershko advanced to the third round of the World Judo Championships in Baku on Saturday morning, October 10, after defeating Taiwan’s Ling Fang Chang. Competing in the women’s over-78-kilogram division, Hershko won by ippon after one minute and 50 seconds, securing the victory with a hold. Her next opponent is Emma-Melis Aktas, an 18-year-old judoka from Estonia. The victory took Hershko through her contest and into the next round of the competition.
