Shenkar and Ben-Gurion Report Initial Cohorts of 10 and About 35 for AI Degrees

Shenkar's software engineering department head said its new bachelor's degree in AI systems is starting with 10 students. Ben-Gurion University of the Negev has accepted about 35 students for its new AI bachelor's program, whose head said he had expected at least 50 to 60 starters. The new programs are scheduled to open in October. Shenkar lists a three-year program spanning six semesters. Ben-Gurion's official curriculum also spans three years, combining mathematics and computer science foundations with dedicated AI subjects.
