Eliav Elbaz Takes Command of IDF Sinai Division

Brig. Gen. Eliav Elbaz has taken command of the IDF’s Sinai Division, also designated Division 252. He succeeds Brig. Gen. Yehuda Vach, whose tenure leading the division lasted two years. The IDF announced the completed command change on October 13. Vach is moving from the division command to become head of the Doctrine and Training Division within the IDF’s Operations Directorate.
