IDF Says Troops Fired at Rioters Near Ramallah After Teen Reported Killed
After Palestinian outlets reported that 15-year-old Amir Ahmad Jawad Jaber was killed by Israeli fire near Ramallah on Monday, the IDF told Times of Israel that troops had opened fire during a military operation after a violent riot developed with stone throwing at forces. The army said soldiers returned fire at a suspect, identified a hit and opened a further investigation; a military source said the suspect was an Israeli citizen.
