Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Dagher: We are in the right, and victory is assured for us. 10 September 2026 We are fighting our battles on some fronts, and there is a possibility that we will fight them on all fronts. In their heat, our heroes are creating miracles and one feat of heroism after another; our pure land is watered with the blood of heroes, and their souls dwell in its precious soil. That is an honor attained only by the sincere and those who love their homelands. We must realize that war is a matter of turns: one day is yours and one day is against you. That is the truth of every war humanity has fought in any part of the world. Losing a battle does not necessarily mean losing the war. True political and military leaders are those who turn losses into gains. Then they magnify those gains later; that is what is happening now on all fronts. Our war with the Houthis is comprehensive in nature, for we are waging it against Iran at the same time, the permanent enemy of the Arab and Islamic nations. The Houthis’ wars in Yemen are great dangers growing red across the region. In Yemen, we must break their momentum. We are in the right, and victory is assured for us. Our Arab brothers and the world stand in solidarity with us, and on the ground our armed forces and the National Resistance are making progress amid a fragile resistance, but one with a human density that must not be underestimated or diminished. This kind of war requires firepower to counter human density. Our armed forces and the National Resistance are moving toward their noble objective, great in scale and magnificent in meaning, which we all aspire to achieve regardless of the sacrifices: reaching Sana’a, defeating the coup, and restoring the state. This battle will not stop before achieving its objectives.

They encountered resistance they had never known before. This time, this adventure will not pass without punishment as its predecessors did. It appears that arrogance has gone too far with them, so they have returned to attack the Kingdom’s cities, economy, civilian assets, and citizens once again. Reckless acts and foolish adventures will end in bad results for them. The Kingdom has become accustomed to confronting and repelling this kind of danger. It has an immunity forged by experience in crisis management and confronting adversaries, as well as a people that supports its wise leadership and gives it its absolute trust. History tells us that the Kingdom has been, remains, and will continue to be invulnerable to every adventurer. It is difficult to understand what is happening in Yemen apart from the war between the United States of America and Iran. Whenever Iran feels suffocated, it sets its criminal arms in the region in motion. It appears that, at this current moment of the confrontation with America, the Houthis are becoming more important to Iran after it has lost, or nearly lost, its other battles in the Arab world. Nor can this new escalation on the battlefronts, and their shift to dangerous aggression on the Kingdom’s territory, be understood apart from their defeats, which are piling up on more than one level. What drives them most toward adventure is their sense that, in the areas under their control, they are facing growing popular vigilance and rising national resistance: an awareness growing against the coming Imamate, a vigilance approaching a boiling point, drawing its roots from a collective national consciousness and a long history of struggle for liberation from a culture of ignorance, and from cultural ignorance that has governed and controlled the consciousness of some of our people. For their part, through the battles whose causes they created, the Houthis intended to provide direct service to Iran and exchange benefits with it in an attempt to ease the multidirectional pressures on it. A humiliating subservient behavior, and a bondage that is not in the character of Yemenis. In this, Houthi and Iranian policies intersect and unite, and these in turn are inseparable from Iran’s far-reaching expansionist strategic objectives in the region. These aggressive policies will end in failure, utter failure. The Houthis will suffer a disgraceful defeat in the battles taking place on more than one front. Our armed forces and the national resistance, in all their names and forms, with their leaders and heroes, their soldiers and officers, will create a new glory that will end the conflict, mend the break, and bandage the wounds. The Houthis have exhausted all the reasons for their survival, or they are doing so. Today, fronts in al-Jawf and al-Bayda are being added to the list of victories. It saddens us that some families continue to send their sons and dearest children to die, aware or unaware that they are entrenching their bondage and imposing more restraints on their lives. Legitimacy will prevail for the Yemeni people and the Republic of Yemen. This is the day of honoring the pledge, not out of a desire for victory in itself, but because it is the logical result of a people that resists and rejects submission and humiliation, emerges from the grip of misleading culture, and embraces freedom with growing passion; a people that opposes every form of bondage, even when it is disguised in false sectarian coverings. The council affirms that the armed forces’ steadfastness and firm response to these attacks embody their high readiness and ability to protect the homeland and its strategic interests, foremost among them securing vital corridors and sites and thwarting plans intended to threaten the security of Yemen and the region and serve hostile foreign agendas. The Shura Council appreciates the directives issued by the Presidential Leadership Council and its follow-up of developments on the ground, and affirms its full support for the armed forces and national resistance, as well as the need to strengthen coordination and integration among all national political, military, and security forces in confronting the terrorist Houthi militia. The Congress leadership of which you are a part remains cohesive in its authentic approach of supporting the legitimate government and the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom, and defending the values of September, October, and the great May, from which the leadership has not deviated one iota. So what will the movement add to a party whose principles and objectives are these? What role more influential in political life could be restored than that of a party to which the President of the Republic belongs, along with three members of the Presidential Leadership Council, which elects parliament by a majority of a veteran and founding Congress leader, and a Shura Council in both eras with a Congress majority, while the Congress also enjoys a large presence in the government? Shall I remind you of the names? Important positions in the important institutions of the legitimate government are held by Congress members. So what will you restore? Remember that they were defeated in Nihm when we were on the outskirts of Sanaa, and defeated in Hodeida when we were at the port gate. Translated from ArabicNational Bloc of Political Parties and Components Discusses Houthi Escalation in Marib, the Western Coast, and All Fronts [19/08/2026] The National Bloc of Political Parties and Components held a meeting yesterday, Tuesday, August 18, chaired by Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr, head of the bloc. It discussed the rapidly developing field and political developments on the Yemeni scene, foremost among them the military escalation waged by the Iranian-backed Houthi coup militia on the fronts of Marib, the western coast, and all other fronts. The meeting reached one conclusion: Yemen, because of the Houthis' aggressive actions, stands at a crossroads. It called on the Yemeni people to remain alert and cautious and to prepare to face all possibilities, stressing that this confrontation will end only with the defeat of the coup and the restoration of the state, and that the battle will be comprehensive and decisive and will end the crisis of the homeland and the Yemeni people. The National Bloc condemned this Houthi escalation as a blatant violation of de-escalation efforts and a political solution, and as a continuation of the militia's aggressive approach, which reveals its connection to a regional agenda far removed from the interests of Yemenis. The participants also condemned the terrorist Houthi militia's targeting of civilians and the resources of the Yemeni people, foremost among them the shelling of the vital port of Mocha, residential areas, and gatherings of displaced people, in barbaric conduct that attaches no value to the life of the Yemeni person or to the people's resources. The Supreme Council of the National Bloc commended the steadfastness of our armed forces and the national and popular resistance on the various fronts of confrontation, in defense of constitutional legitimacy, Yemen's unity, and its security, stability, and sovereignty. It called on the Yemeni people to support the fronts of steadfastness and praised the level of national response to the decisions of the political leadership on all fronts. The participants renewed their affirmation of full support for the Presidential Leadership Council and His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi in all steps and measures aimed at restoring state institutions and extending their control over the entirety of Yemeni territory, considering this the only path to end the coup and restore the prestige of the Yemeni state. The participants denounced the militia's false claims that it was under siege, which it uses to justify its aggressive conduct, while it itself imposes an actual siege on the Yemeni people by looting employees' salaries since the Stockholm Agreement and confiscating national resources, in a systematic policy to impoverish and blackmail citizens. The bloc condemned abusive practices against Yemeni women, including arrest, mistreatment, and assaults on their dignity, holding the terrorist militias fully responsible for these systematic crimes. It also condemned campaigns of defamation and vilification targeting working women in their workplaces, affirming that the Yemeni woman, wherever she may be, is a genuine partner in building the state, and that protecting and empowering her serve Yemen's present and future. The bloc rejects vulgarity and superficiality in dealing with the national role of women. The meeting concluded by affirming that victory in the battle against the Houthi coup will be achieved only through national unity and protecting all components of Yemeni society, individuals and groups, men and women, and institutions, calling for the martyrs of the homeland to receive forgiveness and mercy, for the wounded to recover quickly, and for the prisoners to be free.
