Following the capsizing of the passenger ship operating the Girne–Taşucu route off the coast of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, I convey my wishes for a swift recovery to our people and the Turkish Cypriot people. I ask Allah to have mercy on our brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the accident, and I offer my condolences and patience to their families. We also hope that those missing in the accident will be reached safe and sound as soon as possible. May our country and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus be granted strength in this time of mourning.
