@HamdanMohammed · Gulf & Arab world
Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum is the crown prince of Dubai.
As part of my ongoing follow up on Dubai’s business growth, I visited today Aster Pharmacy’s Distribution Centre in Dubai Industrial City and explored how it handles around 75,000 transactions daily across a network of 485 pharmacies and healthcare facilities, while enhancing the speed, accuracy and efficiency of medicine storage and distribution. The private sector is a key partner in our development journey. In Dubai, we measure excellence and innovation by their ability to save time, enhance the quality of services and make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Translated from ArabicMy lord, my father, my teacher, and my support, Mohammed bin Rashid.. One of the hardest moments for a son is finding words worthy of his father when that father is the one who taught him the meaning of responsibility, the meaning of the homeland, and the meaning of letting actions precede words. Twenty years in your school were a true preparation for the meaning of leadership... for how the homeland should stand above every consideration, and how serving people is a trust and a covenant we must not break. No matter how many responsibilities a person carries, and no matter what achievements he attains, his father's approval retains a place that nothing else can reach. Your words today brought joy to Hamdan the son, but they placed within me, the official, a greater pledge: always to be worthy of this trust, and for what comes next to be a truer expression of everything you planted in me. I promise you that I will remain as you taught me: close to the people, steadfast in truth, and devoted to the homeland.. and that we will preserve what you built through hard work and sincerity, and remain for Dubai and the UAE as you taught us: we will accept for them nothing but first place. May God preserve you for us as a father, teacher, and leader; may God preserve you as a treasure, a source of pride, and a symbol unlike any other.. and grant me always the ability to live up to your expectations.

Translated from ArabicWe have directed the Dubai Future Foundation to organise “Dubai Future Week” from 18 to 21 November 2026. We want this annual event to become a defining milestone in shaping the future of humanity, and a distinctive global meeting point bringing together leaders, decision-makers, business leaders and entrepreneurs, alongside futurists, scientists and innovators from around the world. Translated from ArabicI reviewed the report on real estate projects completed in Dubai in the first half of 2026, which highlights the sector’s continued growth. A total of 104 real estate projects, with a combined investment value of approximately AED 111 billion, were completed, representing an estimated 52% increase. These projects also added more than 24,000 new real estate units in Dubai, up 36% compared with last year. Today’s figures reflect the visionary leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reaffirming the strength and resilience of Dubai’s real estate sector and the growing confidence in its investment and business environment. Dubai’s ambition and leadership know no limits.
