Today was the first 2026-2027 Surgery Grand Rounds at @AUB_Lebanon . It was an absolute Tour de Force by @Saouduro where he "cut through Dogma" in a fully packed room by engaged attendings (including Dean of @AUB_FM), trainees & students across 15 specialties & Sub-specialties. Insisting on discussing surgical science after a weekend where a hospital was destroyed & nearly 50 people injured or killed in South Lebanon is our way of celebrating life, persisting & rising.
We are @AUB_Lebanon @AUBMC_Official establishing the Institute for Data Exploration & Analytics in Surgery (IDEAS). We are recruiting for several key roles in the institute that I will share as soon as ready and posted. This is the first key one is for a research and operations manager/coordinator/philanthropist.
