The people of Gaza have been slaughtered in silence since what is supposedly a ceasefire, and during this ceasefire more than 1,300 civilians in Gaza were killed. It is clear that the Israeli occupation understood the diabolical equation: when it persists in its blatant attack with bombs and aircraft, it loses global public opinion and turns the international community against it, whereas when it shows that it is still sitting at the negotiating table, this leaves it enough space for the slow killing of the unarmed Palestinian people, whether in #غزة, the #الضفة_الغربية or #القدس, without us seeing the same global mobilization. In fact, this is the same approach followed in the last war in the region: keeping the situation suspended between peace and war and deliberately spoiling mediation efforts whenever they come close to achieving their aims. The Israeli occupation cleverly extricated itself from all of that. Although it is the one that ignited this war and benefits from it, it decided, through its officials, to sit in the spectator's chair while we on both shores of the Gulf pay, as do the American side and the global economy. The truth that everyone knows without acknowledging it is that as long as the Israeli occupation remains immune from the consequences of this war, it will continue, because the great powers in reality care only about Israel's security. The legitimate question here is: why, then, do the warring parties deliberately drag everyone into this ongoing absurdity except the Israeli occupation, which has remained outside their equations despite being their origin and even their pivot? In any case, wars, all wars in the age of weapons of mass destruction, never bring any good. We ask God for security, peace and well-being for everyone.

Over the past two years, more than 9,000 attacks on education have been recorded around the world, an increase of 50% over the previous period, affecting more than 10,600 students, teachers, and academics in 83 countries. In #Gaza alone, the number of students and education workers killed since October 2023 has exceeded 21,000, and more than 90% of school buildings have been damaged. In #Sudan, eight million children are now out of school, and about half of the school buildings are no longer fit for education, not to mention the enormous figures in #Yemen, #Syria, #Lebanon, #Ukraine, #Myanmar, and other countries.
