Michael Oren
@DrMichaelOren · Israeli opposition & former officials
Michael Oren is a former Israeli ambassador to the United States and the historian behind Six Days of War.
The same Great Britain which, in 1939, wouldn’t let European Jews into the Land of Israel and so doomed them to death in the Holocaust, is now prohibiting the entry of Jewish products from the Land of Israel into Britain. Israel must respond forcefully to this antisemitic boycott by preventing all British ministers from entering Israel or fulfilling any role in future diplomatic initiatives.
I was deeply moved and honored to have my name appear on a new United Hatzalah ambulance, and profoundly grateful to Steven Lavin of Chicago for donating this state-of-the-art emergency medical vehicle. Wishing all the dedicated United Hatzalah volunteers a year of continued selfless service and of saving countless lives.
I was deeply dismayed and outraged by the the hateful acts of vandalism committed against Kol HaNeshema synagogue in Jerusalem. The synagogue in which all my children were raised and where they celebrated their Bar Mitzvah, Kol HaNeshema is a wellspring of Jewish faith, learning, and community. All Jews everywhere must condemn this heinous attack.
In the face of the challenges confronting it: Israel must strengthen its alliance with the United States
Translated from HebrewIn one of his first acts in office, Colombia President, Abelardo de La Espriella recognized Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights. Muchas gracias, señor presidente. Todo Israel le saluda!
