I condemn in the strongest terms the cowardly attack launched by the Houthi militia, which targeted civilian facilities and energy facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in many people being injured. Pakistan stands firmly and in solidarity alongside the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and the brotherly Saudi people. Such despicable attacks threaten the lives of innocent people, as well as regional peace and security. We reaffirm our steadfast support for the Kingdom's sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, and ask God to grant all the injured a speedy recovery.

Pleased to meet my dear brother, President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, on the sidelines of the SCO Summit in Bishkek. We discussed the evolving regional situation. I reiterated Pakistan’s sincere commitment to peace through restraint, dialogue and sustained diplomacy. The understanding reached under the Islamabad MoU offer the most viable pathway towards lasting peace and stability in the region. We reaffirmed our resolve to further strengthen the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran, rooted in shared history, culture and faith, and to deepen cooperation across all areas of mutual interest, particularly regional connectivity and people-to-people contacts.
