Shin Bet chief Zini is not only now stating publicly and on the record that "it is clear and known that there was no 'betrayal from within' by elements in the Shin Bet or cooperation by members of the security establishment in the Simchat Torah massacre." More importantly: Zini announces that he fully accepts the Shin Bet investigation into 10/7, conducted during Ronen Bar's tenure, an investigation that was at the heart of his firing by Netanyahu: "There is no dispute over the conclusions of the investigative team, and as the directorate that investigated noted—there are still more issues to investigate."
