Rodriguez Thanks Israeli Quake Team in Venezuela

Venezuela's acting president Delcy Rodriguez thanked Israel at 18:13 IDT for sending an expert aid mission after the earthquakes and said the team arrived through a connection made by the Venezuelan Jewish community. Rodriguez said Rabbi Cohen helped link Caracas with Israel, and that Israeli specialists were beginning protocols to assess damaged infrastructure and help determine whether survivors or bodies remain under rubble. The joint Foreign Ministry and IDF Home Front Command mission is working with local authorities. Israel's rescue skill and Jewish-diaspora bridges are serving civilians even where formal diplomacy has been broken.
