London Police Probe Antisemitic Abuse of Jewish Pride Marchers

London's Metropolitan Police said officers are reviewing footage from the July 4 Pride in London parade after videos showed antisemitic verbal abuse directed at Jewish attendees. Coverage said people carrying rainbow flags with the Star of David and Israeli or LGBTQ flags were confronted with anti-Zionist and explicitly anti-Jewish taunts, while no arrests had been reported when the first accounts appeared. Around 150 people marched in a Jewish bloc at the event, and some Jewish LGBTQ organizations have avoided Pride events in recent years because of hostility toward Zionist Jews. Campaign Against Antisemitism called for the people responsible to be identified and punished.
