Likud Poll Puts Ohana First With Members, Barkat First With Voters

A new Agam Institute survey of 1,062 eligible Likud members and more than 1,000 Likud voters found different preferences for the party's post-Netanyahu leadership. Among members, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana led with 22.9%, while Economy Minister Nir Barkat placed fourth with 10.8%; among party voters, Barkat led with 19%. The survey also found 66.1% of members preferred a fully right-wing coalition, compared with 45.1% of voters. Conversely, 54.9% of voters favored a unity government with the center-right, compared with 33.9% of members. Dr. Nimrod Nir conducted the polling from August 6 to 10.
