Armed Man Removed From Chabad 770 in Brooklyn
An armed man carrying a knife and baseball bat entered Chabad-Lubavitch headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn on Wednesday and was quickly removed by worshippers, bystanders or 770 security before police took him into custody. Jerusalem Post framed the incident as a suspected antisemitic attack, while VINnews and Chabad-linked reporting said there was no broader threat and Yaacov Behrman described the man as known to police and security and appearing unstable. No injuries were reported. The episode still matters for Jewish security: Torah communities deserve calm prayer, serious protection and careful facts before motive is declared.
