Mifal HaPais Voids Chance Draw Results After Ball-Loading Error

Mifal HaPais voided the results of a Chance draw held Friday after balls were loaded into the machines in the wrong fixed order, producing an incorrect displayed result. The organization acknowledged a human operational error and said the supervising committee did not monitor the draw in real time. It said most prizes had already been redeemed normally and that it was examining a small number of claims from customers who say they won but no longer have their ticket. Mifal HaPais said it is investigating the incident and taking steps to prevent a recurrence.
