Education Ministry Data Show 451,000 Students Used AI in 2025–26

Education Ministry figures show about 231,000 pupils in grades 4–6 achieved AI proficiency through Q-Bot, while more than 220,000 middle- and high-school pupils joined curricula or activities using AI. Together, 451,000 pupils participated, roughly 30% of the 1.475 million eligible pupils in grades 4–12. The ministry said more than 91,000 teachers and kindergarten teachers received training, with implementation combining curricula, infrastructure and phased adoption focused on geographic and social peripheries. Separate expenditure data put its three-day February 2026 international AI conference at about NIS 6.35 million, with 42,000 attendees.
