Netanyahu Inaugurates Momentum for Science Youth Physics Program at Soreq

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu inaugurated the Momentum for Science program at the Soreq Nuclear Research Center near Yavne with Education Minister Yoav Kisch, Minister David Amsalem and Atomic Energy Commission Director-General Moshe Edri. The initiative, developed by Soreq, Yavne Municipality and the Schwartz/Reisman Foundation, will serve students in grades 7–12 from Yavne and nearby councils. Participants will study five-unit physics at a dedicated center, while selected students may complete five additional research units in commission laboratories. Netanyahu said quantum technology may prove even more important than artificial intelligence.
