IDF Keeps Battalions on Alert and Sends Maglan Fighters to Central Command for Sukkot

The IDF said on Friday that it had completed a plan to reinforce forces across its sectors ahead of Sukkot, in accordance with the Chief of Staff's directive. Regular battalions will remain on alert in all commands until the end of the holiday period, with brigade headquarters also on alert. Combat companies will reinforce the sectors through Hol HaMoed and until the second holiday, with more companies held as an operational reserve, and most fighters at brigade training bases will spend the holiday on base. Central Command will receive additional forces, including fighters from the Maglan unit. The IDF said multi-agency discussions were held to ensure readiness and coordination among all security bodies.
