Israeli 14-Year-Old Killed as Russian Drone Strikes His Family's Kyiv Home

A 14-year-old Israeli boy was killed on Friday when a Russian drone struck his family's home in central Kyiv, not far from Israel's embassy, according to an Israeli report; his mother was wounded and hospitalized. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said a drone hit a residential high-rise in the city in the morning, killing a 14-year-old boy. Ukraine's State Emergency Service said the strike hit the building in the Pechersk district at the level of the ninth and tenth floors, causing a fire. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the number of injured in the capital rose to 20, with eight hospitalized, including a 9-year-old child.
