IDF Says Givati and Yahalom Troops Destroyed Two-Kilometer Tunnel in Southern Gaza

The IDF said on Friday that Givati Brigade Combat Team and Yahalom troops, under the command of the Gaza Division's engineering unit, destroyed an underground terror tunnel about two kilometers long in southern Gaza. The forces are continuing to clear terrorist infrastructure from the Yellow Line area in the southern Strip, the military said. According to the IDF, troops under Southern Command are deployed there in accordance with the framework of the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat. The military released footage of troops inside the tunnel and of its demolition but did not say when or exactly where it was destroyed.
