Two IDF Reservists Killed When Army Drone Explodes at Northern Gaza Post

The IDF on Friday named two reservists killed in northern Gaza: Master Sgt. (res.) Nadav Kali, 24, of Har Halutz, and Master Sgt. (res.) Ofek Moalem, 23, of Jerusalem, both fighters in Battalion 7007 of the 16th Brigade. On Thursday afternoon their team launched two explosive drones from a post near Beit Hanoun; the first reached its target, while the second crashed inside the post and exploded, for reasons still unclear, when the soldiers approached it. They were flown by helicopter in critical condition to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The Chief of Staff ordered explosive-drone activity suspended pending a technical review, and the IDF is examining all causes, including communications disruption.
