IDF Extends Gaza Attack-Drone Suspension to October 4 After Fatal Blast

The IDF's Ground Forces commander has extended the suspension of Bat attack drones in the Gaza Strip by a week, through Sunday, October 4, according to an Israeli report. The precaution follows an IDF-drone explosion at Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza that killed reserve Sgt. Maj. Nadav Kli and reserve Sgt. Maj. Ofek Mualem of Battalion 7007. The new order prolongs the halt on use of this drone type during operations in Gaza. The report did not identify the commander by name or announce a finding on what caused the fatal explosion.
