Altshuler Shaham and Leader agreed to cancel a planned investment of about 18% in Leader, according to a report published Sunday, roughly two months after signing the arrangement. The report says Altshuler Shaham initiated the move and both sides agreed to unwind it. The original transaction valued Leader at NIS 160 million; the investment funds are expected to be returned, while Harel's separate investment remains in place. A September 14 filing by Altshuler Shaham Finance says its controlling shareholder agreed to sell its 55.35% stake to WeSure and Yair Levinstein for NIS 1 billion, subject to regulatory approvals and other conditions.
