Botswana Hold Tunisia to 2-2 Draw in AFCON Qualifier

Botswana held Tunisia to a 2-2 draw in Radès on Monday in the second round of qualifying for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. Thatayaone Kgamanyane put Botswana ahead in the first half before Hazem Mastouri scored on either side of halftime to give Tunisia the lead. Botswana substitute Lebogang Ditsele equalized around the hour mark, denying the hosts their first victory of the campaign. Both teams have two points from two Group H matches, having also drawn their opening qualifiers, and neither has yet recorded a win in the group.
