IDF Says Over 100 Rioters Blocked Palestinian Family’s Return to Jalud

The IDF and Border Police said more than 100 Israeli rioters prevented a Palestinian family from returning to Jalud overnight despite a coordinated operation to protect the return. The family had left the village after earlier nationalist crimes, according to the joint statement. The IDF said rioters blocked roads, burned tires, threw stones at security forces and set fire to Palestinian structures, vehicles and other property. Three Border Police officers were lightly injured and a security vehicle was damaged. Forces dispersed the crowd and arrested two suspects for police questioning; the planned return was not completed.
