Netanyahu Condemns Qusra and Jalud Violence, Urges Arrests

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly condemned what he called criminal acts of violence by a handful of rioters in Qusra and Jalud. He said the violence hindered the IDF’s missions, harmed Israel’s international standing and wronged law-abiding residents of Judea and Samaria. Netanyahu said security forces quickly ended the incident and seized three vehicles, while the IDF, Shin Bet and police opened an intensive investigation; he urged prompt arrests and prosecutions. The IDF said dozens barricaded themselves in a Palestinian home with residents inside, while the Binyamin Regional Council said Israelis on a security patrol were attacked first and that both sides threw stones.
