Bećirović, Filipović and Cvijanović Lead Bosnia’s Presidency Count

Denis Bećirović, Darijana Filipović and Željka Cvijanović led the races for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s three-member presidency in preliminary results from the October 4 general election. The election commission’s count downloaded at 23:40 UTC listed Bećirović with 210,390 votes, ahead of Bakir Izetbegović’s 187,653 in the Bosniak race. Filipović had 109,125 votes against Slaven Kovačević’s 71,560 in the Croat race. Cvijanović led the Serb race with 287,656 votes, compared with Marinko Božović’s 137,691 and Nebojša Vukanović’s 93,974. The results remained preliminary.
