An Interior Ministry official said Israel sometimes receives passenger and flight-crew lists only after a plane has taken off. In a newly disclosed conversation with senior Transportation Ministry officials, he said crew members were not questioned at a level that would identify additional nationality, while the information received was forwarded through the passenger-data center to security agencies. Asked about the recent Flydubai incident, he said the Interior Ministry, Shin Bet and Mossad had received the crew details. The Transportation Ministry also clarified crew-nationality instructions to foreign airlines, including American carriers.
