A closed Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee hearing reportedly disclosed that 1,240 aircrew members, including pilots and copilots, entered Israel from countries without formal diplomatic relations since the start of this year. Committee chairman Boaz Bismuth said civil-aviation procedures and security oversight would undergo substantial change. A joint Transportation Ministry and Israeli security delegation is expected to visit Dubai next week to work toward a permanent, secure aviation arrangement for Israeli airlines. The delegation is also expected to discuss conditions for restoring regular Flydubai operations, following the attack on its Israel-bound flight.
