Friends of Zion founder Dr. Mike Evans is scheduled to present the Hineni award to Yaniv Hayon at Jerusalem’s Davidson Center on October 7 at 17:30. Organizers say the honor recognizes Hayon’s confrontation with a terrorist and his role in helping stop the attempted attack on a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. The presentation is planned as part of an October 7 memorial gathering. Organizers expect approximately 2,000 participants, including former hostages, bereaved families and Holocaust survivors, as well as representatives from 121 countries.
