Shin Bet personnel are participating in the questioning of Flydubai copilot Hamam al-Hammami in the United Arab Emirates, according to a report published Monday evening. The reported interrogation account says he sought revenge on Israel for its actions in Gaza. Investigators have ruled out flight attendants’ involvement, finding that they were frightened during the incident rather than accomplices. They are still examining whether another person or organization recruited or directed him; their prevailing assessment for now is that he acted alone.
