Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed National Security Council head Shmuel Ben Ezra to appoint an examiner to conduct a thorough review of all security aspects of foreign civilian aviation arriving in Israel. The Prime Minister’s Office announced the instruction Sunday evening, following the attempted attack aboard an Israel-bound Flydubai flight. The examination will be conducted internally and will cover the security of incoming foreign civil aviation. The examiner will have no investigative or enforcement powers.
