Hamam al-Hammami, the 29-year-old Omani pilot accused of trying to hijack an Israel-bound Flydubai flight, reportedly trained at L3 Airline Academy in 2018 and 2019. The academy operated flight-training facilities in England and later became part of Acron Aviation. The report places his training at one or more English facilities without identifying a confirmed location. Acron declined to confirm whether he had been a student, saying it does not publicly identify current or former students. The company said it would assist relevant authorities if required.
