Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry condemned Israeli activity in Syria on Sunday, citing completion of work on the Sufa 53 line. It described the work as violating Syrian sovereignty and international law and called for urgent international action, including compliance with the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. The statement urged an end to repeated Israeli operations to prevent escalation. Separately, the IDF said early Monday that it would continue operating in the security zone in southern Syria to remove threats to Israeli civilians and its troops.
