Israeli Forces Take Up Positions on Hills Around Syria's Beit Jinn, Report Says

Israeli forces advanced on Saturday onto the hills surrounding Beit Jinn, a town in the western countryside of Damascus, near the area's waterfalls, according to a Syrian Kurdish news agency report. The report said the forces took up positions at the site and began surveillance and monitoring of the surrounding area. It described the move as the latest in repeated Israeli incursions around Beit Jinn and nearby Mazraat Beit Jinn in recent weeks, which it said included military vehicles entering the area, temporary checkpoints and artillery fire on areas around the town. The report did not mention any casualties.
