Syria Says It Foiled Hezbollah Rocket-Launcher Plot in Daraa

Syrian intelligence and internal security forces said Tuesday they had foiled a plot attributed to Hezbollah to prepare rocket-launch platforms in the Yarmouk Basin of Daraa province. The Internal Security Forces said three suspects, identified only by initials, were arrested after surveillance and that the platforms were dismantled. The statement did not identify an intended target or say that any rockets had been launched. Authorities said the detainees were being questioned before referral to the courts.
