Hezbollah MP Says Seized Dahr al-Baidar Vehicle Belongs to Group

Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah said on October 15 that a vehicle stopped at Lebanon’s Dahr al-Baidar checkpoint belonged to the group. Speaking from Lebanon’s parliament, he said Hezbollah had contacted the relevant authorities from the outset and requested the return of both the vehicle and its contents. Fadlallah claimed the seized materials were intended for use against Israel and referred to explosive devices among Hezbollah’s weapons. He also warned Lebanese authorities against measures targeting the group, while defending its continued possession of weapons intended to attack Israel.
