IDF Says Soldier Seriously Injured and Officer Moderately Injured in Lebanon Accident

The IDF said Sunday morning that a soldier was seriously injured and a combat officer moderately injured in an operational accident during activity in southern Lebanon on Friday. Both were evacuated to hospital for medical treatment, and their families were notified. The military said the incident is being investigated. Its announcement did not identify either service member, give a more precise location within southern Lebanon, or describe the circumstances of the accident. The statement was posted by the IDF’s official channel at 06:00 Israel time.
