OpenWeb's Unsigned $5 Million Debt Plan Is Disclosed
Published

Newly disclosed details describe an unsigned debt arrangement between OpenWeb, an Israeli developer of AI moderation and community tools for publishers, and Mars Growth Capital, part of Liquidity Group. The draft would have required an immediate $5 million payment to release a substantial portion of frozen funds, alongside significant cuts and restrictions on early payments to suppliers or employees. It also called for an accelerated debt-repayment plan by October 11. The agreement was not signed. Liquidity said it had collected $7.5 million of the debt and believed its collateral covered the remaining balance and interest.
