Captivity survivor Eli Sharabi appealed Sunday morning for Israelis to put disagreements aside and attend the October 7 families’ national memorial ceremony. More than 50,000 people are expected at the event organized by Kumu and bereaved families in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park, with only several thousand tickets remaining. Sharabi said he would remember his daughters Noya and Yahel, his wife Lianne and his brother Yossi as he hosts, and called for October 7 to become an official memorial day. The ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, at 21:15.
