Avi Marciano Plays Noa's Captivity Recording at October Council Exhibition

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of a single pair of black wired over-ear headphones against a plain background. Archival generic audio-listening context; does not depict Avi or Noa Marciano, the Jaffa exhibition, the recording or its actual playback equipment.

Avi Marciano played a recording of his daughter Noa from Hamas captivity on Saturday evening at the October Council's "The Space That Remains" exhibition in Jaffa. The IDF surveillance soldier was kidnapped on October 7 and later murdered by Hamas. In the recording, she identifies herself and her parents, says she is 19, lives in Modi'in and has been in Gaza for four days, and describes being alongside other hostages. Her father presented the recording at the Peres Center for Peace and Innovation.
