Yashar leader Gadi Eisenkot and Blue and White leader Benny Gantz were filmed passing one another without exchanging a greeting at the October Council exhibition in Jaffa on Saturday evening. The encounter came two days after Eisenkot proposed a meeting to discuss Gantz withdrawing from the election. Gantz responded publicly by inviting Eisenkot to Kfar Maccabiah that evening. Gantz's associates said withdrawal was not on the agenda and that he favored forming a government without relying on the Arab parties.
