Yaakov Bardugo Joins Netanyahu’s Election Campaign Team

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of an archival September 2010 portrait of Benjamin Netanyahu in a dark suit and blue tie, with U.S. and Israeli flags; contextual portrait, not Yaakov Bardugo or the October 2026 campaign appointment.

Yaakov Bardugo, a close associate of Benjamin Netanyahu, formally joined the prime minister’s election campaign team on Thursday. Bardugo had already received the reserved 11th position on Likud’s slate and reduced his public profile following objections to that placement. He joins a campaign managed by Bat Yam Mayor Tzvika Brot. Yonatan Urich and Guy Levy handle strategy, Topaz Luk manages social accounts, and Neta Molcho serves as spokesperson. The campaign is expected to intensify after the holidays, with Bardugo now formally included in its team.
