Likud accused Channel 12 on October 7 of broadcasting false political propaganda against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the party throughout the anniversary of the Hamas attack. The statement, published on Netanyahu’s verified Telegram channel, opened by remembering those who fell and were murdered. Likud alleged that the broadcasts sought to bring down the right-wing government and replace it with a left-wing government that would establish a Palestinian state. It described the coverage as part of the election campaign and repeated its claim that Netanyahu had received no advance warning of the attack.
