Ofer Winter, chairman of Amcha Israel, encountered verbal heckling during a campaign visit to Bnei Brak on Thursday evening. He had come to speak with Haredi residents ahead of the elections, sat down to eat cholent and received a warm welcome from those attending. After he left, a group described as members of the Jerusalem Faction confronted him, with one heckler accusing him of speaking against Torah and demanding that he remove his kippah. Winter replied, “You are disgracing the Torah,” and asked why the heckler was attacking him instead of studying Torah.
