Ofer Winter's Run
Where it stands
Former IDF brigadier general Ofer Winter launched a new right-wing party, Amcha Israel, on August 25, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged him to merge or withdraw. Winter later submitted an 18-candidate slate, ending prospects of an alliance with Religious Zionism. Internal polling for Netanyahu reportedly indicates Winter's party and Religious Zionism cannot both clear the threshold, and Likud is running a paid social-media campaign against Winter.
