Attorney General Baharav-Miara told the High Court that talks on Ben Gvir's relationship with police had failed. Disputes over appointments and funding followed. In late September, a report said Ben Gvir released NIS 50 million in frozen police funds, while senior appointments still awaited his signature. On October 2, an officer accused him of ignoring police during a Mitzpe Jericho clash; Ben Gvir denied the claim and police continued reviewing the incident.
